Underneath the once-dingy arches of Leeds train station now stand 10 colourful and creative murals, representing life in south Leeds as you travel through 'the gateway to the south' of Leeds, celebrating the rich history of Beeston, Holbeck, Middleton, and more.
Working alongside Leeds City Council and Network Rail, we developed 10 case study video pieces around the artists, their inspirations, and the finished pieces now on display down Neville Street. The videos offer an accessible and visual insight into the project, relating the history of south Leeds to the artworks and giving a glimpse into the artistic process too.
If you're ever passing by Leeds train station, pop under the bridge to find this little gem. The QR codes attached to each artwork link to the respective video for ease!
