Helping the YMCA Ripon help more people
YMCA Ripon’s website carried the important information people needed, but turning that into people-first video helped them save time, eased stress for applicants, and gave another avenue to show themselves as trusting, honest, and a safe space.
Video as part of a strategy
We put together a series of videos that answered their most commonly searched FAQs. Working alongside copy, this meant that any searched questions would direct audiences right to the source – ensuring the right information was passed on to vulnerable people, and giving the YMCA more search visibility across both web and social media.
Making sure they were optimised for access, it was important that there was pain language throughout, subtitles, and they were short enough to watch in the time someone’s already spending on the page, so the same answer is there however someone prefers to take it in.
Video as a way to build trust.
Especially when working with vulnerable people in stressful situations, it’s important to create trusting relationships. We had the staff at the YMCA Ripon deliver the videos so that when people walk through the door, they feel like they already know and trust the people they’re talking to.
The familiarity alone breaks down some of the hardest barriers, building trust and driving action.
Building trust with your audience?
At Circle Take Films, we build video around the real people someone will actually meet, not actors, not a script, not AI – so there’s already a familiar face by the time they walk through the door.
Circle Take took our (sometimes vague!) ideas and really brought them to life. They worked so well with the younger people, understands different groups and needs, and were able to draw out what is needed. Will absolutely use Circle Take Films future projects!
It’s called Circle Take for a reason
We’re named after the industry term for the perfect take. It’s because we don’t settle for anything less. And neither should you. Get in touch and let’s make some magic together.
