SAM Networking’s free annual Expo brings small and medium Yorkshire businesses together for a day of schmoozing at stalls, new conversations and building connections at the Cedar Court Hotel in Huddersfield.
Delivering event videos with people in mind
Every business has a story to tell – so we treated every business on the floor as its own case study as ambassadors for SAM Networking. Over the course of the day we filmed thirteen, interviews with stallholders, visitors, sponsors and more – giving their honest opinions of the event in their own words.
Real people, independent business owners telling audiences why it’s worth coming to the Expo and why they return year after year. People buy from people – and those who value networking understand a people-first approach best.
We heard from prominent players in West Yorkshire including key sponsor Evolve Your Digital, plus businesses in a wide range of sectors including Sense of Numbers, Dolphin Heating, Torque Motors, HSBC, AdVenture and more.
Capturing video for this year’s event is next year’s marketing strategy sorted.
The suite of videos sit pride of place of the SAM Expo website, and will be used to drive ticket sales, stall-holder bookings, and increase the credibility of the event even further as it enters its next stage.
Stylistically – they’re not polished, sit-down interviews in a random meeting room. The point is to get genuine responses – so we filmed them right in the heart of the event, so you know it’s a real, honest testimonial.
Every video is ready-made for social media, websites, sending in information packs – and can be shared year after year. It’s proof that good video strategy begins much earlier than you think, and can get you more than you expect.
